The United States Mint produced 2019-W Lincoln Cents (Buy on eBay) with three different finishes for inclusion as premium coins within the annual numismatic sets. This represented the first time that the “W” mint mark had appeared on the cent. The coins were struck with uncirculated, proof, and reverse proof finishes and experienced historically low mintages.
The Mint created the special cents to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Lincoln Cent and to reward loyal customers who purchased the annual numismatic sets. Each of the three sets included one of the premium Lincoln Cents, packaged separately in clear plastic wrap bearing United States Mint branding.
